6 arc in a 14.5 or 16 inch config is the most useful ar15. Walter stands by that

I’m preparing to buy parts to build a 6ARC upper and I’m debating between 12.5 and 14.5. I’ve seen some charts of velocity not changing too much between 12.5 or 14.5, as well as your video of the 12.5 making hits out to ~1000m. What’s the reason for your switch to 14.5, Walter?

Also, I’ll be running a SciSix on the end of mine as well.

shooting back to back with Donny's 14.5 noveske, the 14.5 gets more hits at range. Walter would go with the 14.5

Hornady banned me on IG for comments similar in spirit to this post. This is the way, and big manufacturers aren’t showing any interest. There is a sleeping market that Walter is waking up. This untapped market could be a cash cow to small companies like Discreet, Just Cause, and Gorilla. The lawyers just need time figure out the disclaimers and boring warranty stuff. Dusting off the press to start joining in on the fun.

We need to get more barrel options out there on the Mini Fix and Fix. Excited to see Noveske is showing interest. I hope they will be available as stand alone barrels for Fix owners. Idk what is up with Proof. Need to kick off some emails to them too.

Agreed. Sobchak Security and Noveske have some projects in the pipeline for stand alone barrels for the fix and mini fix. Ammo manufactures are massive and operate off the benefits of economic of scale and dont want to change their products. innovation will come from the small guys and then the big guys will copy their homework.
