Long before the subculture was rat-fucked by the late Paul Walker, Walter pulled a stint racing for pink slips in "Mexico." Like with ballistics, there are many ways to skin this cat, many ways to lull unsuspecting, cold-plunge-and-sauna-alternating dentists into wagering tens of thousands of dollars on the capabilities of their latest German, automated contraption and underestimating a portly, aging mall cop and lowly 93 Mazda Miata.
Fuckin' a. That opening paragraph is gold. I image that's what the fast and the furious would have been if Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez had wrote and directed it.
My 308 Noveske barrel just got delivered, and I can't wait to add a 6cm.
I think for hunting application, 6MM creedmoor is the best cartridge that currently exists with the +P+ capability.
You get easy 800 yard + terminal performance (further really, but let's be conservative for the angry internet people), with fantastic ballistic flight performance, in a cartridge that can be shot accurately out of very lightweight rifles.
I don't really see that combo being surpassed until if/when something comes out like a 6mm variant of the 7mm Backcountry. And even if/when that releases - it'll be another year or two before handloading it becomes viable.
Walter agrees. 25 CM might be really special too but 6mm is so common and there are so many good projectiles and the recoil is a lot less. the case fill and geometry is such that is really excels in the +P+.

let Walter know how it shoots and if you want some recs dont let him know!
I've been wanting to whip these up for a couple shorty 6mm creedmoors I already have.
I'd definitely be in the market for that 6mm Q Fix barrel though!
Walter is very excited for a 16 or 18 inch 6 creed barrel
